Ladino Winning at Elementary and Medium
I love getting updates from clients about how they are getting on with their horse(s), not least because they usually become good friends in the process, but also because it helps you visualise how well you can really do with a Spanish horse when you make a good connection. Here is a lovely update from a client:
Hi Sophie, I sent you a video of Ladino competing at Marlton Stud Wicklow Ireland (one of our top dressage venues). He is competing at Elementary at the moment and doing really well, always winning or being placed. He will do a couple of Mediums towards the end of this year but we are taking our time and bringing him along slowly and letting him build up both physically and mentally. He is a wonderful horse, intelligent and loving - enjoys his work and loves human contact, especially the people he knows and trusts. Ruth Chadwick (one of our best young riders) competes him for me but I also ride him, he has really improved my riding as it must be correct! He lives at home with me (and 3 mares to look at!) and I think has a happy life.
